How to get to Nam cat tien national park from Ho Chi Minh City

Cat Tien National Park (Cát Tiên) is a vast lowland tropical forest and biosphere reserve in southern Vietnam. It’s home to centuries-old trees, botanical gardens and recreational trails. The park is also a home for variety of wild animals from reptiles at Crocodile Lake to endangered primates and rare birds. This park is absoluetly a great place for whom are interested in nature and wild life. 

However, the distance from Ho Chi Minh city to Cat Tien National Park is over 163 km (Google), this makes visitors encounter many difficulties in moving, especially the ones coming to for the first time.


1. By Bus:

Take a Phuong Trang sleapping bus from Ho Chi Minh City to Da lat, on the way to Dalat, you ask the driver that you wanted to get off at the junction for Cat Tien National Park which is clearly signposted. After dropped off the bus then you shold take a motorbike drivers, who will drive you to the park wih a distance of 28kms.


2. Private car:

Book a private car or taxi from Ho Chi Minh City with many car rental company, it was easier for you because you do not need to dropp off along the trip. But it ismore expensive than the slipping bus.
